What is a Ministry Country?
“The AIDS issue was not at the top of my list what God called me to do… and then I held a little boy in my arms whose parents recently died of AIDS. I saw the eyes of Jesus in that little guy’s face. I saw the innocence and the longing to be loved. Christ’s Hope is all about that little guy… and now I’m with them.”
A Ministry Country is a kind way of saying “hurting, dying nation”.
The people of Africa need care, compassion, medical attention and a solution to AIDS.
What they need even more is hope… the kind of real hope that only Jesus Christ can offer. He restores dignity, encourages integrity, and promotes purity. Christ’s Hope is all about medical care and comforting the hurting… but even more Christ’s Hope is about leading people to the real Saviour.
