The International Board of Trustees meeting of Christ’s Hope International wrapped up three days of work on November 3, 2007. Among many topics covered, reports on the continued growth of Christ’s Hope’s Choose to Wait program in Africa and beyond was a key highlight of the proceedings. International Director Jos Holtzhausen spoke about how the program has been translated into several new languages, including Thai, Swahili and Mandarin. Holtzhausen’s report specifically noted the “commitment of our people, lay, fulltime and volunteers. There is an air of expectancy amongst them, which gives me great assurance that they are willing and able to live by faith, trusting the Living God to provide all their needs and work with what they have in their hands.”
Other highlights included the unveiling of a new three-year growth plan designed to match a challenge of increased donation goals with significant ministry growth targets by 2010. “Increased expectations” could be considered the watchword of the meeting that drew board members and participants from ten nations in three continents. The progress toward those expectations will be revealed at the next International Board of Trustees meeting scheduled for late July, 2008 in Namibia.






Christ’s Hope International is working towards an AIDS free world by bringing the hope of Jesus Christ to those infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS. This includes people in danger of contracting HIV, those suffering from AIDS, their care-givers, and at-risk children whose parents have died due to AIDS. Christ’s Hope International is a non-denominational, African-based ministry with international headquarters in Namibia. Christ’s Hope International was founded in early 2003, and has many active
